Text message consent
This page shows how River Meadow Daycare collects permission to send text messages, and the exact wording that appears on the forms families and staff complete. It is published so that anyone, including our messaging carriers, can verify our consent language.
How we collect consent
Parents and guardians give us their mobile number on two printed forms completed before a child starts: the enrolment agreement and the emergency contact form. Staff give their mobile number to the office on their hiring paperwork.
Each of those forms carries a tick box, which is not ticked in advance. Providing a mobile number is optional and consent is not a condition of enrolment or employment.
The wording on the form
Yes, River Meadow Daycare may text this mobile number about my child's care and the centre's operations (confirmations, reminders, closings, absence and pickup notices). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop. Consent is not a condition of enrolment.
The wording on the staff form is the same, except that it refers to scheduling and coverage rather than a child's care.
What we send
Tour and appointment confirmations, reminders for conferences and parent information sessions, notices when a child is absent or is being picked up late, closings and schedule changes, and replies to messages you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Frequency, rates, and stopping
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, call (980) 788-2273, or email Management@rivermeadowdaycare.com.
We do not buy, rent, or share mobile numbers. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
