Our Story

Hello, we are the Gwyn Family. In looking at preschool options for our oldest daughter, my husband and I could not find the right fit. We wanted a school that was dedicated to academics with a firm understanding of child development. We also wanted a place that offered a similar home schedule where she could learn and play both indoors and outdoors throughout the day. This is the inspiration behind River Meadow Daycare.

Our business name comes from our two daughter’s middle names. We are truly a child-centered facility. We understand the importance of play, choice, and exploration in an early education curriculum. In addition, we believe that engaging in nature is crucial for child development. This is why we offer an indoor/outdoor learning experience within our classrooms and structure our curriculum to provide children with ample time to engage in the outdoors.

Versatility is central to our daycare. We understand the complexities of juggling home, work and family. This is why we offer half-day options in addition to full time care for ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We created River Meadow Daycare to be your child's home away from home.
