Our Educators

Ms. Sheila

Lead Teacher

With more than 15 years of experience working with children, Ms. Sheila brings a calm, nurturing presence to our Tadpole classroom. After raising four children of her own, she followed her passion for early childhood education and has spent her career helping young learners grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Ms. Sheila loves watching children discover the world around them, especially those wonderful moments when something new suddenly clicks and you can see their faces light up with excitement. Her gentle, patient nature helps toddlers feel safe as they explore, learn, and navigate all the big emotions that come with being two.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Sheila enjoys reading, visiting art museums, and searching for unique treasures while thrifting. She also has a special love for animals and shares her home with Mango, her playful young sun conure, Lulu, her beloved blue-and-gold macaw of more than 20 years, and Gary, her bearded dragon.

Assistant Teacher

Ms. Britney

With nearly 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Britney has spent her career helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. She has taught children of all ages, but since joining River Meadow earlier this year, she has found a special connection with our Tadpoles and the unique energy of the two-year-old classroom.

Her love for working with children began with something simple: their smiles. Ms. Britney loves being part of a child's day and helping parents feel comfortable and confident when they leave their little ones in her care. Growing up, she also helped care for her younger sister, an experience that helped shape her love for working with children.

What she enjoys most about teaching is watching children grow while making sure every child feels seen and loved. She loves getting to know each child's personality and celebrating all the little milestones that make this age so special.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Britney enjoys hiking and swimming. She brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm to her days with our Tadpoles and is excited to continue helping them learn, explore, and grow.
