RIVER MEADOW DAYCARE

River Meadow Daycare learning cycle that follows a frog lifecycle: frog eggs (0-12 months), tadpoles (1-3 years), froglets (3-4 years), and frogs (4-5 years). There are images of frogs in green at this various stages of frog development.

We offer full time care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old including Pre-K (half-day and full-day).

Our classes are based on the frog life cycle and are dedicated to academics with a firm understanding of child development.

Frog Eggs

Infant Program
(ages 0-12 months)

In our infant program, babies are introduced to their world through sensory play. Schedules are individualized to reflect each infant's unique feeding, nap and play needs. Wake periods are maximized which provides the infant with multiple opportunities to engage with their teacher, peers, toys and surroundings.

Tadpoles

Toddler Program
(ages 1-3 years)

Our toddler program is marked by the vertical transition of infant to toddler. With a newfound ability to walk paired with an innate curiosity, toddlers are encouraged to climb, play and explore. The classroom is setup to allow fluid indoor and outdoor movement.

Froglets

Preschool Program
(ages 3-4 years)

Children must be potty trained to enroll in the Preschool Program.

Toddlers entering this program will be introduced to a concise and targeted curriculum that will build the foundation for Pre-K work. Children will spend up to one hour on structured curriculum centered around both academic and social and emotional domains. This curriculum will be interwoven with free choice activities. Students will have ample opportunities to explore and learn both indoors and outdoors.

Frogs

Pre-K
(ages 4-5 years)

Children entering this program will be challenged by a rigorous curriculum that will prepare them for Kindergarten success. From 10am-12:00pm, students will be engrossed in play and learning. They will move fluidly throughout the space engaging in literacy and STEM activities while fostering lively conversations among peers and teachers. Safety procedures and social emotional concepts will be taught to ensure that your child is prepared to handle the complexities of school and the challenges of the modern world. Children requiring full-time care will stay to participate in the extended day Pre-K Program. This program is designed to expand their knowledge and understanding of the day's concepts through additional play and learning experiences. 

Our Educational Program runs from the beginning of September through the first of June. Our Summer Enrichment Program is full-day and runs from the first of June through end of August.
